This Privacy Policy explains how RedRank ("RedRank", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use RedRank (the "Service") at app.redrank.ai. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
Account data (email + authentication via Supabase Auth); product setup (product name, description, URL, competitor URLs, keywords, tone/scoring preferences); usage data (matched threads, intent scores, generated drafts, credit transactions/balances, High Karma/Custom Task order history); payment data (handled by Dodo Payments - we store your subscription identifier, not full card details); technical data (browser, device/OS, IP - for security, fraud prevention, and analytics).
To operate the Service: monitor public Reddit content for your keywords, score threads (0-100), generate drafts you review and post yourself - by copy-paste, or through the optional browser extension if you install and connect it - flag Google-ranked threads, alert you to competitor mentions, fulfill optional High Karma/Custom Task orders, meter credits and billing, send transactional and digest emails, provide support, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information or share it with third-party marketers.
If you are in the EEA, we process on the bases of: performance of our contract; your consent (where requested); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improvement); and legal compliance.
RedRank reads publicly available Reddit content to find relevant threads. We store public post URLs, content, engagement metrics, and metadata, associated with your account, for scoring and reporting. We do not access private messages. By default the Service posts nothing to your Reddit account - drafts are copied and posted manually by you. If you are on Pro and choose to install and connect our optional browser extension (assisted self-posting, off unless you turn it on), it can submit replies you have individually approved from your own logged-in Reddit session, in your own browser - so we never receive or store your Reddit username, password, or session cookies, and no reply is posted through our servers. There is no generate-and-post-automatically mode: you approve each reply, you remain its author, and you can pause or disconnect the extension at any time. Because you are the author, complying with Reddit's terms, each subreddit's rules, and any material-connection disclosure obligations (such as the FTC's Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255) remains yours; a live comment later removed by a moderator or deleted by the original poster is ordinary Reddit behavior, not a failure of the Service. For optional High Karma/Custom Task services, a RedRank team member manually posts a comment from a warmed Reddit account on your behalf. Reddit content remains subject to Reddit's terms.
Supabase (database, auth, hosting); Apify (public Reddit data); Google Gemini (AI scoring/drafting); Serper.dev (Google ranking lookups); Resend (email); Dodo Payments (billing); PostHog (product analytics, hosted in the US); Crisp (optional support chat, only when enabled and used). These process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
When you use AI features, we send the relevant context - Reddit thread title/body, your product name/description/competitor names, and your scoring/reply prompts - to Google Gemini to generate scores and drafts. We never send your email, password, or payment information to AI providers. AI output is an estimate and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing it and complying with Reddit's terms and applicable law for anything you post.
We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you logged in (Supabase Auth) and remember interface preferences (onboarding, product-tour progress). We also use PostHog analytics, which sets a first-party cookie (named "ph_" followed by our project key) and browser storage to measure how the site is used - page views, clicks, time on page, and session replays in which anything you type is masked by default. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookies in your browser, but disabling them may break login.
We retain data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data anytime from Settings → Danger Zone; deletion cancels any active subscription and cascades across products, keywords, threads, drafts, and order history. If you cancel or lapse, your credit balances are set to zero but account data is preserved unless you delete the account. We may retain limited billing records where required by tax/accounting law.
Depending on your location (incl. GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact harsh@redrank.ai; we aim to respond within 30 days. You can also access and edit most data directly in the app.
Measures include row-level security (each user can only access their own rows), encrypted transport (HTTPS), and scoped API access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access.
We operate from the United States, and your data may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate. We take steps to ensure transfers comply with applicable data-protection laws. (Confirm this location is accurate for you.)
RedRank is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
